‘Bring Your Own Project’ - Patterns & Sewing Personalised Workshop

Join us at our creative studio in Oakleigh for this pattern making and sewing workshop where you’ll be able to ask as many questions as you like for your very own sewing project.

You could join solo, or it is a perfect opportunity for you and a friend to create your projects together, with expert guidance.

This workshop is suitable for skill levels beginner through to intermediate.

Time: Wednesdays from 6.30pm - 9pm

Class size: We accomodate 1-2 for this class. (Price outlined is per person)

How it works:

• You email us at megparrystudio@gmail.com to find out available times.

• Book and pay for your class via our website - then await to receive a confirmation email.

• This class runs for 2.5 hours from 6.30pm - 9pm on a Wednesday evening.

  What you will get:

• Full use of our domestic machines and pattern making tools, stationary, large cutting tables, pattern paper, no need to bring your own, but you can if you prefer.

• Expert guidance on your project from your teacher Meg.

• Complimentary tea, coffee, water & biscuits.

  Highlights of the class:

• Learn specific techniques; whether this be pattern making or sewing/garment construction related, these will be specific to your project.

• Learn how to make adjustments to your pattern, such as adding pockets or gathering, design details.

• Flexibility, ask as many questions as you'd like.

• Access to specialised tools and domestic equipment in the studio.

Knowledge required:

No previous knowledge is required. Perfect for beginner and intermediate sewers.

What to bring:

• Any materials such as specific interfacing, fabrics, buttons and notions you would like to work with on your sewing project.
